Confidence at Different Ages

At 10, confidence meant raising my hand in class even if I wasn’t sure of the answer.

At 30, it became standing up for myself at work, like asking for a raise or sharing an idea in a meeting. At 55, confidence feels calmer and quieter, less about proving myself and more about knowing what matters.

Saying no and setting boundaries is a form of confidence I didn’t recognize when I was younger.

I believe that confidence shifts over time, but it always plays a role in how we live.
