Winding Down Before Moving Forward

Before thinking about the new year, what lesson from this past year do you want to carry forward -and what are you ready to leave behind?

As the year comes to an end, I’ve noticed how natural it feels to slow down and look back.

Before setting new goals, I take a moment to ask what this past year actually taught me—what worked, what didn’t, and what quietly changed me. I’ve learned that reflection gives goals meaning; without it, resolutions feel rushed and hollow.

Letting go of what no longer fits makes space for intentions that feel honest and attainable.

Ending the year gently helps me begin the next one with clarity instead of pressure.
