The Gift of Slowing Down

Fall has a rhythm that asks us to pause.

The daylight shortens, and we start to move inward — both literally and emotionally.

I used to resist it, wanting endless summer energy, but I’ve come to appreciate how rest is part of growth.

The quiet evenings, the slower pace, even the chill — they remind me that recovery is not laziness but preparation. Every season needs its rest before renewal.
